When is the RSVP deadline?

If you are flying in, use Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).
If you are flying in the day of the wedding, please choose an arrival time with plenty of space to allow for Atlanta’s unpredictable traffic, whether you are going to a hotel or right to the wedding.
Same goes if you are driving into Atlanta from another city – allow for traffic.
If you’re willing, flying on July 4 can be cheaper since most people don’t travel on that day.

Where should we stay?

We have some recommendations here.
FYI: The closest hotels to the venue are still about a 20 minute drive, due to the semi-remote location of the venue.
The venue is south of Atlanta, so keep that in mind if you are staying within the city (staying in northern neighborhoods will increase the drive time quite a bit).

What is there to do in Atlanta?

Are children welcome?

Yes, just be sure to let us know the total number in your party when you RSVP, including children over the age of 2.
Feel free to use the comment box of the RSVP form to explain anything about your party that might be helpful for us to know.

What should I wear?

The dress code is cocktail, but please keep in mind that Atlanta in July is very hot. We’d rather you be comfortable above all else!
Weather permitting, the (short) ceremony will be outside on a wooden deck. Please bring or wear sun protection if needed.
There are areas near the venue with grass and gravel, but you don’t need to walk in these areas unless you want to, so high-heeled shoes are okay to wear.

What kind of food will be served?

We will have a barbeque buffet with a pork option and a chicken option. The sides will be vegetarian (may contain dairy).
For our vegetarian and vegan guests, we will have vegan barbeque entrees as well.
We will also provide a vegan side dish.
There will be cake!

What if I have a dietary restriction?

The RSVP form has a place for you to let us know if you are vegetarian or vegan. If you have another dietary restriction, please select “other” and let us know what it is so we can accomodate.

Will we need to pay for drinks?

We will provide self-service beer and wine for our guests.
Please drink responsibly and take advantage of rideshare companies or a select a designated driver if you plan to drink!

What is the venue like?

The venue is a community use building on a public lake in Clayton County, Georgia, situated between the lake and a reservoir.
The wedding events will take place in the main room and on the patio, but guests will be free to roam around both the venue and the surrounding outdoor areas.

How do I get to the venue?

Find written directions here.
Google maps will guide you to the venue accurately, just watch carefully as one of the major turns is on a bend in the road.
Some signs will be placed to guide you once you are getting close to the venue.

Is parking available?

Yes, there are two parking lots at the venue (handicapped parking is available right in front of the building).
Please consider using a rideshare program if you plan on drinking (rideshare can drop off right in front of the venue as well).

Neither do we! We ask everyone who would like to keep the party going to meet us back in Atlanta at Georgia Beer Garden on Edgewood Ave for the official unofficial after party (not hosted).
